Ken and James worked with long term partners in St Petersburg to develop a series of lectures and activities on Low Carbon Economics. These were created with a local team drawn from three Universities and delivered to university students and lecturers earlier this year.

James Hindson is working with the Slovak Environmental Agency to support the development of their ecological footprint web site for schools – this can be seen at www.ekostopa.sk. Next year James will be supporting workshops for teachers.

The European SUPPORT network

This is a network of over 30 organisations across Europe working together to improve the quality of education for sustainable development. Growing from the ENSI network the network the network’s biggest project so far has been the CO2nnect web site aimed at schools measuring the CO2 impact of travel to school - http://co2nnect.org/. Have a look and join the global network of schools taking part.

 

European Association of Youth Hostels (EUFED)

James led a session at EUFED Conference in Bled Slovenia and will be working with EUFED on other projects in 2010 with EUFED and Hostelling International.
